Microsoft OneDriveMicrosoft has announced the re-branding of their Skydrive product as OneDrive, The Microsoft cloud based service will continue to be part of Windows and Office 365 to the best of our knowledge.

Skydrive is a cross-platform solution working with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and other mobile devices.  Microsoft currently offers 7 GB of free storage and affordable upgrade options to 100 GB and even 200 GB of online storage. The service supports photos, notetaking, online slide sharing, version tracking, remote file sharing, online viewing of Microsoft files and more.

Popular support applications include: OneNote, Phat Pad, Idea Sketch and DocuSign Ink.

It does look like Microsoft will be offering support for both OneDrive for individuals and OneDrive Business as a replacement to Skydrive Pro. We are hopeful that Microsoft will maintain or even expand the service with the rebranding.
